Of the many exciting projects we’ve developed for Woolworths, the Digital Totem Pole and the compiling of their first foray into Augmented Reality rank as our favourite.
The Digital Totem pole appeared at Design Indaba. It featured social media interaction and a custom artwork creator.
Their move towards augmented reality saw us create an augmented browsing experience for the Woolworths shopper, in their WMag.
As the space on the magazine’s pages are too limited to show the full range of product, consumers could view more fashion accessories and garments using Pictivate. If consumers liked what they saw, they could simply tap through to the online store. Off the back of WMag’s successful Augmented Reality drive, Woolworths also asked us to create an Easter based Augmented Reality experience which spread from in-store to digital activations.
